Springfield House - Birmingham Airport & NEC

A group of 5 of us stayed for one night as we were attending Crufts at the NEC. Our host was welcoming and accommodating as we arrived, recommending where to go to eat that evening. We were all shown to our rooms (3 in total), all of which were clean and comfy and given a preorder sheet to fill in for breakfast the next morning for a time that suited us. The beds were comfy and we all got a great night sleep before our next busy day. When we came down for breakfast our tea and cereal was already set out on the table and there wasn’t a long wait for the hot food. All of our plates went back empty and it set us up well for the rest of our day. We would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the NEC or nearby. Our car was safely off the road for the evening and it was a good distance from the NEC.

Fabulous property, sympathetically modernized and tastefully decorated. James welcomed us on arrival and check in was easy. Loved that we had a quiet attic room and although the bed was only a double it was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was particularly pristine. Great shower - the water was hot and the pressure was really good. Hansel cooked a wonderful full English in the morning. The location is away from the NEC but only a short commute to there (or the airport).

The property was close to Birmingham NEC and in a lovely town with amenities. It was clean and fresh and bright. James was very helpful and welcoming.

Attended for an event in the NEC and honestly I can't recommend this place enough. The location is spot on, really easily accessible in a lovely spot with great restaurants within walking distance. The hosts are so lovely; welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The rooms are delightful and spotlessly clean. The linen in particular is such nice quality which makes for a great night sleep. And then breakfast! Cooked to your liking with a nice menu given in the night before. Ready when you are the following morning and delicious, with extra toast for greedy me! Loved this place and can't wait to go back. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay at Springfield House. Our room was a good size, nice and bright. Owners were brilliant, very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of options. Hotel lovely and clean. Ideal location for the NEC. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again. Thank you 🙂

Upon arrival we were welcomed and shown to our room. From that point the hotel and owners did not disappoint. Room 2 was on the 2nd floor facing the street. The room was clean, warm and cosy. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic, booked for a show at the NEC for my business. Less than 10 mins drive away, fantastic location. Lovely village walking distance from nice pubs and a few restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic, including gluten free toast and sausage for me, and the owners are so lovely and welcoming. Very comfortable ENORMOUS bed, spotlessly clean. Thanks guys!

Great breakfast with a brilliant set of options available to choose from. Rooms and clean and simple, exactly what was needed after a day of travel and work. Available Wi-Fi was great, no issues with connectivity for personal and work use.

I stayed in the property same time last year to attend an event at the NEC and had no hesitation in booking again as Springfield House is immaculate, with parking right outside. James and Hansel are exceptional, friendly hosts and took the time to remember our names and preferences. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh both mornings, brought to us as soon as we came down to the dining room. The beds are super comfortable, rooms and spacious and tasteful. A very nice touch is the fabulously priced communal fridge and snack offering - really appreciated the convenient chilled bottle of beer after a tiring day! In the evenings we wandered down to the high street 10 mins away where there is a great selection of pubs and restaurants. Really cannot fault Springfield House. We'll see you again next year James and Hansel :)
